Standard SI Warranty Through The Window Depot

SI Product Limited Lifetime Warranty
Solar Industries, Inc. DBA The Window Depot (“WD”) hereby provides a limited lifetime warranty with respect to the SI brand windows and patio doors (collectively “SI Product”), except that WD provides only a 10-year warranty with respect to SI Product with black capstock frames, subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein (“SI Limited Warranty”). The SI Limited Warranty provides the property owner with an SI Product that is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the residential dwelling in which the SI Product was originally installed.

If the SI Product fails to conform to the SI Limited Warranty, WD will provide the property owner with either a replacement SI Product or part. WD, in its sole and absolute discretion, will decide whether to provide a replacement SI Product or part and which replacement SI Product or part to provide. The SI Limited Warranty also includes replacement parts for glass and screens that have experienced normal wear and tear from ordinary use. The SI Limited Warranty does NOT include removing or replacing the glass, screens, or defective SI Product or part.

WD is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages to persons or property arising out of or relating to any defects in the SI Product. WD will bear no other expenses associated with removing or replacing the glass, screens, or defective SI Product or part. The SI Limited Warranty does not apply to damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, acts of God, alteration of the SI Product, or installation of the SI Product not performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

This SI Limited Warranty gives the property owner specific legal rights. Although the property owner may have rights that vary from state to state, THERE IS NO IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. ALL WD SI  PRODUCTS ARE SOLD AS-IS.
