Peel and Stick Membrane Flash is an aggressive self-adhered waterproof flashing membrane that is self-sealing and available in 25 mil thickness. The product is engineered for use with windows, doors, building seams – as well as waterproofing pot shelves, recessed windows and other waterproofing tasks. Its advanced butyl/rubberized asphalt compound adheres to plywood, OSB, masonry, aluminum, vinyl, steel, foam, drywall, and housewraps – while allowing installations at temperatures as low as 25°F.The adhesives used in the manufacture of Nexo-Flash™ are very aggressive and adhere to most clean, dry surfaces. The adhesive self-seals around most punctures. Nexo-Flash™ ties the window flange into the surrounding materials to protect the structure from water damage caused by blowing rain, snow and ice. Nexo-Flash™ increases energy efficiency, bars insects from entry, and reduces noise transmission to the interior of the structure.Nexo-Flash™ can be used to flash around windows and doors in new construction and in replacement installations. Nexo-Flash™ may be used to seal joints, around vents and other openings under most exterior surfaces including brick, stucco, wood and vinyl or metal siding. Nexo-Flash™ may also be used as a barrier between metal brackets and ACQ lumber.
